Delivers excellent patient care by effectively and efficiently managing nursing staff.
Coordinates with staff to develop policies and procedures that ensures patient satisfaction and care.
Ensures that excellent patient care is provided in accordance to relevant tribal, state, federal, and licensing regulations, requirements, and standards.
Collaborates in the development of departmental strategies and budgets to ensure that the quality of care is not negatively affected.
Coordinates with the Directors to develop procedures, tracking, and monitoring systems to improve quality of service on an ongoing basis.
Ensures that hospital nursing policies and procedures adhere to the relevant state, federal, and licensing regulations, requirements, and standards.
Collaborates with various internal department staff to improve upon established policies and procedures for the continuous improvement of patient care activities.
Oversees and follows established preventative maintenance procedures on equipment and instrumentation to maintain proper functionality for safe patient care.
Maintains an inventory of nursing supplies through reviewing usage reports, identifying trends, anticipating supply shortages, and approving reacquisitions and cost allocations as necessary.
Encourages patient independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching and counseling patients, their friends, and family members, and reinforces their understanding of disease, medication, and self-care skills.
Submits status and statistical reports on a regular basis to the Directors as required by established procedures.
Monitors staffing levels and schedules staff to deliver satisfactory patient care and follows-up with staff post-assignments.
Provides professional development feedback to staff on a regular basis.
Performs evaluations, counseling, coaching, new-hire training and disciplinary actions.
Ensures assigned staff completes required annual training and competencies.
Answers various questions from nursing staff, patients, and patient friends and/or family members and follows up with appropriate solutions.
Assists in the development of the operational budget to ensure that services are able to be delivered without compromising quality.
Provides assistance and feedback in the planning, development, and management of department strategies and operational budgets.
Performs other job-related activities as requested.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program from an accredited university or college; Bachelors' Degree in nursing or a closely related field of study preferred.
Registered Nurse Licensure in AZ or qualified Compact Licensure.
3 years nursing experience required; preferably in the area of expertise of which position will be responsible.
2 years of leadership experience preferred.
Current and continuing BLS training and certification.
Employment at the Caring House (TCH) requires:
AZ Department of Public Safety fingerprint Clearance Card.
Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
