Responsible for the development of budgeting and forecasting tools in alignment with organizational vision, mission, and goals, under the supervision of Finance and Leadership team.
Works closely with Finance leaders to provide guidance and analysis to key stakeholders across the multiple systems.
Establishes processes to evaluate performance against the budget and develops forecasting tools that consider the likelihood of changes in the economic environment that may adversely impact the organization.
Collaborates with other department leaders to evaluate the financial merits of new initiatives or service lines.
Facilitates the annual budget process in collaboration with Finance leaders and Leadership team; this includes operational, capital and staffing budgets.
Ensures that key operational assumptions are documented and built into the budgeting and forecasting process.
Develops monthly department reports that track and analyze actual performance against budget.
Works collaboratively with department managers on the budget.
Provides education, training, and assistance to responsible parties on budget development and ongoing monitoring and reviewing.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Leadership team and Board of Directors.
Recommends, develops, and implements policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability.
Leads in the planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communications.
Works with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
Ability to manage confidentiality when managing sensitive payroll and financial informationCollaborates with Finance leaders and other department leaders to develop performance metrics and evaluate new initiatives and service linesAssist with special projects and ad-hoc requests;All other position related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required; Master's Degree preferred.
3 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Strong analytical skills required.
Advanced Excel and working knowledge of financial statements required.
Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
