Researches laws and regulations, develops policies and procedures, and conducts risk assessments.
Creates training content and communicates about a variety of compliance topics.
Assesses vendors and provides oversight.
Monitors, audits, and conducts incident investigations.
Researches and interprets Federal and State healthcare laws and regulations impacting GRHC.
Validates GRHC policies and procedures to ensure that they conform to Federal and State healthcare laws and regulations.
Writes and/or updates compliance policies and procedures in a clear, concise manner that are understandable to the end user.
Ensures all staff and vendors are exclusion-screened as required, and conflicts of interest are disclosed.
Performs tasks related to conducting risk assessments.
Develops and updates compliance trainings and communications.
Monitors, audits and tracks internal reporting systems.
Investigates reported Compliance incidents and issues.
Develops and monitors improvement plans when departments are experiencing Compliance issues.
Provides administrative support to Compliance Department committees.
Assists in development and maintenance of annual Compliance Department project plan.
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting or similar field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2 years of healthcare experience required.
Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures, specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
