Provides second level, Tier 2, desktop and software application support to end users to ensure proper and effective operations.
Technical support may include but is not limited to desktops, printers, software, and voice assistance.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots and resolves problems reported these include but are not limited to hardware, software, voice and A/V problems.
Installs standard image to desktops/laptops and authorized software to ensure desktop configurations are consistent.
Installs and replaces hardware such as CD drives, network cards, hard-drives, and removable disk drives.
Actively participates in deployment and relocation of desktops and associated peripheral equipment to multiple locations.
Performs a variety of acceptance testing of newly acquired hardware to ensure proper operations.
Tests upgrades or new software and prepares reports on findings to ensure proper operations.
Provides application assistance to end users as requested.
Implements life cycle refresh of out dated equipment and accessories.
IT inventory control(removes unused desktops from domain, cleans hardware, and updates inventory) Maintains accurate computer information in Active Directory.
Keeps a constant awareness of information security processes and implements accordingly.
Escalates tickets as needed to other areas across the team as necessary.
Strong communication skills with both internally with the IT team and externally with customers.
Performs other job-related activities as requested.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field preferred.
2 years of experience in desktop maintenance required.
Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
