Summary:
An executive level position (Director) to coordinate and ensure effective and efficient operations for ZEVX product development efforts.
The director is responsible for overseeing critical systems/processes to manage effective project management, configuration control, document management, change control, budget, product release, and asset management to support product development activities.
Responsibilities include inter-department coordination between Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance.
The primary areas of focus will be the integrity and accuracy of our PLM system, the effectivity of project management (planning, monitoring, risk reduction) to ensure projects operate within cost and schedule targets, the timely procurement of enabling components for product development efforts, and the scheduling and management of ZEVX development, test, and demonstration assets.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Implement, manage, and administer the PLM system (TeamCenter PLM), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
Define and enforce PLM configuration management processes and standards Implement project management practices to establish an effective planning, monitoring, and management environment with confidence in schedule timelines and transparency in reporting Manage & facilitate scrum masters, project managers and business analysts including providing direction, guidance and training.
Manage and maintain project risk registers, quantifying the risk and identifying/implementing risk reduction activities.
Manage the ZEVX product development gate process and ensure proper readiness verification for movement to the next release gate.
Provide cost estimation and schedule timeline plans for ZEVX product development efforts and customer RFPs.
Direct the part number and product release process through controlled workflows ensuring readiness and handover to ZEVX departments.
Manage the release of product configurations and associated documentation to manufacturing, supply chain, product management, quality, finance, and government regulatory support departments.
Manage the upgrade and utilization of all test, development, and sales demonstration assets Ensure PLM is meeting end user business needs and enabling speed to solution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
) in related field or equivalent, two to four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
