Tax ManagerSummary of RoleThe Tax Manager is responsible for managing NovaSource direct and indirect tax matters.
This includes managing the US and international tax compliance processes including the accurate preparation and filing of the company's, state, federal and international tax forms, and ensuring compliance with indirect tax regulations (sales and use tax) in NovaSource's various jurisdictions.
The Tax Manager will ensure compliance with state, federal and international tax law through a series of systems and system controls that are designed to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
The Tax Manager will also prepare a tax provision for the financial statements, including any return-to-provision adjustments and an effective tax rate computation to support the company's annual audit process.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for regular and timely filings of all indirect tax reporting for multiple jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, strong communication skills and general business acumen.
They will also need to be a self-starter and be pro-active in discovering issues, shaping solutions and processes.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income and indirect tax returns for Company's US and international operations Assist in the ongoing analysis of US federal/state and international tax compliance, including research and documentation of tax nexus and permanent establishment Conduct review and analysis of Company's current compliance with US state sales tax requirements.
Establish process for future filing requirements and ensure compliance.
Prepare tax provision and related tax accounts for financial reporting for US and international operations and coordinate review by external service providers.
Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
Monitor and keep abreast on changes in tax laws, rules and/or regulations and assist with determining tax impact based on Company profile.
Conduct tax research and document tax matters, as requested.
Coordinate timing and inputs for overall return calendar with external tax advisors Work with third party tax advisors to proactively review potential exposures related to corporate income tax, sales tax, property tax, withholding tax and value-added tax matters in foreign jurisdictions.
Assist with the implementation of any strategic tax planning for US federal/state and international tax jurisdictions Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits:
preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
Assist external advisors with tax due diligence, tax structuring and tax modelling on various strategic corporate opportunities.
QualificationsMinimum requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred 5 years of demonstrated tax experience with strong technical skills Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Management at all levels.
Strong systems and reporting user.
Able to understand buildup of numbers and extract relevant data.
Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail Knowledge of US GAAP Fluent in English Self-starter - willing to work independently and pro-actively.
Bonus Skills and Experience Experience in solar power / renewable energy industry considered an asset.
Experience in a multi-country environment OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION Full-time position, reports to Vice President of Accounting Location:
Chandler, AZ (Corporate HQ) preferred- or remote location as approved by NovaSource.
Hybrid work schedule may be considered.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
